Post The end of NullRef@Nordrassil
NullRef@Nordrassil had a good six-year run, but the guild is now dead. I will delete the in-game guild at the end of Warlords of Draenor (when patch 7.0 drops). If you are still an active player, or are returning after a long break, I regret to tell you that you should look to find a new guild before the next expansion.

I am gradually gkicking toons based on last log in.

◾I have gkicked every toon that hasn't logged in for over a year.
◾At the end of July (slightly more than one month after 6.2 drops), I will gkick toons that haven't logged in for six months, and will continue to do so.
◾When patch 7.0 drops (probably a month before the expansion), I will gkick all toons and delete the NullRef guild.

NullRef@Nordrassil as a community began to dissipate after an incident in the spring of 2013. One portion of the community remained Horde, with some moving to Hyperion@Nordrassil, and a larger group to Anathema@Blackrock (a PVP server). Another portion changed faction to Alliance, with a few in Deadbeef@Nordrassil, and others with [Its Miller Time]@Proudmoore.

Its Miller Time@Proudmoore:

Its Miller Time has a few names that I recognize as belonging to long-term NullRef members, including Mosaique, Damonmorder (Beefbolts), Infectt, Moracai and Allendia, along with some toons that match naming conventions for Snowysong and Raindanser. Craig (Kolott in NullRef) pointed me to Its Miller Time, and both he and Richard (Knuck/Windbag) are in the guild as well (though I don't know the names of their toons). I suspect there are a couple of more old NullRefers there with toon names I don't recognize.

Anathema@Blackrock:

Dassem/Dan reports that Anathema is a raiding guild, and recruits based on raiding skill and guild needs at the time. Exceptions are made for NullRef members, but Dassem warns that because of the guild's focus on raiding, non-raiders may not find Anathema to be an optimal home.

Dassem added that NullRef's Raid0 team moved to Anathema, but depending on how long a break you've taken, you may not be familiar with that group, so... In addition to Dassem, Anathema's roster includes several long-time NullRef members that I recognize, including Jessikan, Kezana, Eyeballs (Ayeballs), Heap, Stoli (kren, adin, totem, etc), Scoobzilla, Akilah/Zeira, Lirad, Angrim/Oughtred, and their current GL, Desra.

If you want to join Anathema, I think your best bet would be to get in touch with any of the players above that you raided/WoW'd with in the past.

Sad that it ended this way :( Still not sure what I'm doing. I've debated looking into the Proudmoore guild, but that's at least two characters that need server and faction changes which isn't cheap.

Some of my best times in gaming was with this group. It was a great run! Too bad about drama.

I'm moving my one alliance toon over to Proudmoore to try it out. Looks like a decent number of people are online most evenings.

I think I'm also going to take the opportunity to prune my stable of alts. I've leveled up so many over the years, but once they hit max level, I don't play them anymore. But when I look at them, I think "I have to do x, y and z on that alt, and then this other alt is just a few points from max level on a profession..." and soon enough it looks like work.

The leveling is what I enjoy, no reason I can't do that on new toons.

Cool, please be sure to post back with what you find out about Proudmoore.

For what it's worth, I re-homed over on Proudmoore as well. I didn't join "Its Miller Time" for any drama reasons but because I wanted to try the experience of playing in one of Proudmoore's many gay guilds (coincidentally, Proudmoore is WoW's unofficial LGBT server :) ).

I don't play often, but in the past I've had the pleasure of sometimes grouping with Its Miller Time, just for fun :)

I agree that <NullRef> was great fun while it lasted, and I hope to see everyone around in some form or another.

Cheers,
Theo

Helix (Alliance) (formerly Convex)
Araetheon (Horde) (formerly Tangent)

Cool, maybe I'll see you over there, I'm still probably going to transfer my toons there and faction change them. So hard to decide though since I need to only pick a couple to keep the $$$ down.

Well, I'll hopefully see some of you around somewhere. I'm moving over to Area 52 with what was the Blackrock guild. Expecting to move either today or tomorrow. I'm not sure how many prior nullref members are still part of that guild but someone I've played with in Void on Spirestone and also with Nullref is over there so at least I know one person :D :D

We are down to fewer than 30 toons. With the exception of the two Officers, all characters that haven't logged in for two months have been gkicked. In March or April, I will move that up to 30 days, which I suspect will cut the guild down to about ten or eleven toons.

NullRef@Nordrassil is gone. All toons have left or have been gkicked.

We had a good eight-plus-year run. I'll miss you all.

I will not release the guild name on Nordrassil.
